With you in Rowlett, Chille in Garland, and me in Sachse the "Blue and Ivory" force is off the charts.

We need to get the three sisters together for a photo sometime.

Hey Valk Boy Jr, didn't mean to exclude anyone, just the bikes I mentioned all live in about a 10 mile radius.
BTW, red and ivory, and green and ivory Valks are my favorites after the most awesome of all Valks (Can you hear the angels singing?)  " Hall-el-ujah......Hal-le-lujah, BLUE AND IVORY!,  BLUE AND IVORY,  Hal-le-lu-jah!"  But I might be biased...I don't know. Grin

Hey, it ain't braggin' ifn it's true!

Definitely need to have a Blue and Ivory Get together... question though, if we're taking glamour shots, does that mean I actually hafta go buy some rags, cleaner and stuff and actually give 'er her first bath in several years? (Not counting riding in the rain, of course)...

Hey Serk, no need to buy anything, just swing by the shop one day and we can have a cleanin' party instead of a wrenchin' party.

What is up with Luckenbach?

Is '98 the only year for the Blue & Ivory and Wine & Ivory?

Hey Serk, the rain does knock off most of the big stuff...don't it?

Ummm... As much as I've been abusing her, might need to go both! I changed the final drive oil for the first time since... I don't remember... Yesterday... Same with bleeding the front brakes and a few other chores...

I used to LOVE working on her, now I just hate it... Loathe it more like, so either it doesn't get done, or I wait 'till it's critical enough I can justify the expense to pay the shop to do it... I'm a bad Valk daddy, I know it...

Yup... Unless someone's done some custom painting, if you see a Blue/Ivory or a Maroon/Ivory, they're '98's...

Mine's a '98 that I purchased brand spanking new from the crate on December 23rd of 2000...

And yeah, the rain gets the big stuff, but leave lots of little itty bitty parts...

What do you say about a DFW "spit and shine" party next month? I’m thinking the 22nd. Any takers?

Cool Luckenbach pics Serk and Valk Boy Jr (is that Valk boy jr. jr.?)

Fortunately, they secretly enjoy this...they like to be spanked...and dirty... Cheesy

Now that's an interesting idea...I keep swearing I'm gonna clean her up a bit before Inzane...gotta put a new rear tire on sometime this week...an oil change would be good...maybe some other maintenance items would be prudent before a couple thousand mile slog...

Yeah...so cleaning will probably get pushed aside. Fortunately I haven't stated which YEAR I'd get her cleaned before Inzane...

So, yah...a cleaning party's a good idea. I know the theory behind a clean bike...Not sure I've ever seen the techniques in practice.

I'll bet I can still find pieces of Alaska on her...

If being spanked by a trio of uber fast Blue Valk's isn't enough, I could always introduce you to the OTHER blue Honda motorcycle in my garage... Although it's technically the spousal unit's...

Yeah, she's definitely a lil' speed demon... Went from this:

to this:

to this:

All in the span of about 6 months or so...

(My dad's now the proud owner of the Helix... I kinda miss the Silverwing... Nothing quite like a scooter that'll do 115 with ME on it. Used to enjoy going out Harley Hunting on it, it'd take most stock Harley's on the freeway or off the light... Used to REALLY get 'em worked up!)

Speaking of worked up Harley Riders!  I had one pull up to me yesterday running straight pipes so he could be heard miles away.  He revved his engine and punched it, I guess he couldn't stand being behind a Honda.  He missed his up-shift and the bike being so loud people all around turned around to look; he was so embarrassed he turned into the nearest parking lot all the while shaking his head.

I was shaking my head also... in laughter.
