Will a rune rear fender fit an Interstate?  I had the crazy idea of swapping fenders, I am not a big fan of the rune, but I love the rear fender, and think it would look pretty cool on an I/S.  I super-valked it, and rarely ride with the trunk, so I could live without the trunk mount.
any thoughts?

Don't have your answer but there was a VTX1800 model with almost the exact rear fender. Maybe it would mount up. Try finding either one. I'll bet they're rare on the used market.

Dont think it is even close... But you can make ANYTHING fit... just takes money or time or talent

But it seems like there was VTX model that had a similar rear fender and alot of the VTX stuff is kinda close.. might be an easier mod to make it fit...

I don't want to spend a fortune, I have plenty of time, but not much talent, so I was hoping for an easy conversion.

I like the look of the VTX fender, but I really like the LED style lights on the rune.

I picked up mt standard Valkyrie this week. Over the next week I am going to strip off the tins for paint. I have an extra Rune fender. I will try to fit it and let you know.

I did see a picture of a Valkyrie with an 1800 VTX on it so there must be a way of it fitting the Valk.

The VTX fender that looks like the Rune is the N model fender, it has the recessed brake lights.

I have always like the Rune fender so I would also be interested to know if yours fits.

Where did you pick up your Rune fender?

There was a Valkyrie at one of the Johnson City InZanes with Rune-like fenders...

The VTX with a Rune like fender is the 1800N.
