I have the fairing apart so I thought I'd post pics of my amp location and support.

Back of the support sits on the tripple tree.

The main support.

"J" hooks on both sides hold it all in place.

I like it!  It’s really amazing how much room is in our fairing!  I saw one guy put his cruise control unit in there!  I’ve been thinking about adding an amp also.  I’ve got a Nakamichi from when I was a rich teenager and it’s been clunking around in my garage for the last 15 years!  Paid a ton of money for it back then and it’s just to nice to get rid of.  Maybe that’ll be my winter project!

I also added relay banks to both sides and an AUX fuse block.

On the simpler side.......two wheel tunes amps and speakers are very small and but sound great.  I never did like anything extra mounted on handlebars so I put the speakers on the windshield mounts which hides those ugly corners and also turns the entire windshield into an acoustical shell. The amp is locatd under the triple tree (pic) If you touch the edge of the windshield while the stereo is on you can feel the music.......passenger has no problem hearing while on the road.............
