Lost the ujoint halfway up a steep hill near bull shoals lake, after a ride on a dropback tow truck I got back to the Hub.  I needed to catch a trailer ride back to Toepicker, and one of the old guys trailered  his bike down because he can't make a 400 mile ride due to physical disabilitys.  He is from Topeka, said I could ride his bike back and he would tow the fatlady.  Talk about luck! The rest of the luck is his bike is a R1200 Sport-tour Beemer!  Worked very well in the twisters, I must say. Here's a pic I snapped on arrival.  Hoser Geez, sure was bright out yesterday!  cooldude

Thanks, Whistler, I have one.  The Beemer ride definitely did not suck.  Don't feel too sorry me.  cooldude   Hoser  Smiley

I thought John was coming to see me?  hahaha Just kidding!

Hoser, it looks like you lucked out there with your buddy handy with a trailer.  I have been toting a spare ujoint around a while now.  Hope I never have to try to put it in on the road.

Glad you had another safe ride.

John, if that was Daniel M., he would just yank the rear wheel on the road and replace it.    LOL.
