is it part # 5 in this diagram??...and the nut..#7?......I think I mistakenly ordered part # 6 one time.......I do have the spring on hand.....with my '99 I/S getting on up there, I'm afraid that bolt is weak by now..... : Undecided

That bolt will last longer than you'll be riding.

Especially if you lubricate it once in a while.

My bolt was bent from the floor jack using it as a stop Sad
I did replace it before it broke.

If you're looking for the bolt that the spring hooks to, it's #10 in this diagram:

The bolt you referred to holds the kickstand in place and is its pivot.

Well..........@%$@$#!!!!.....do I need part #30 also??....or does just the end break off when it breaks?...I think that is what I did last time......I wasn't even on the right microfiche....that's what I get for being too lazy to go LOOK at the bike and see where it was attached...... It's part #10 on the '99 I/S microfische.......I see on the 2000 CT models it was part #11
