Is this supposed to be real?
Looks kind of like some kind of foreign Photo Shop BS.

Looks real to me...and just another reminder of why I approach intersections with extreme caution on my bike.  I always expect the worst.  This philosophy save me about 6 weeks ago when some idiot decided there was no need to look for traffic at the 4-way stop....much less take time to obey the STOP sign.

I wish the video segment was longer.......I think there might have been a little butt whooping going on in the aftermath.   How about the cager in the curb lane.   Appears they were trying to get out of dodge.

Lots of good videos on that site, check this one out:

The car that hits the guy wasn't even the one in the turn lane.

Most of the drivers in this area are much more thoughtful than that.

Don't get me wrong we have our share of IDIOTS here as well.

I consider myself cautious of other drivers, especially looking out for the one intending to turn left.

But, I must admit that I'm not sure I would've seen the guy comming from three lanes over (two of which were non turn lanes).

It's always good to be remember that green lights give you permission to proceed if the way is safe. They don't "order" you to proceed.
