Do any of you know what name brand of helmet camera would be ideal to own?  Question #2:  Can any one tell me how to post a video on here?  Thinking about getting one for our rides.  Doug's camera takes really nice pictures.

Search you tube for some videos from each one.  While flying to/from work in Denver I would watch many snowboarding videos others captured on vacation.  They both are great units (costly) and loved by their owners.  There is a surfing video somewhere on the web where the guy lost his camera in the surf.  Some weeks/months later he found it.  It survived all that time underwater.

You should consider getting one that has a remote for stop/start/single picture.  Mounts of all type are around to attach them to about anything.

GoPro has all kinds of ways to control the camera now including from your cell phone! The GoPro site has all kinds of information on it.
I have the Hero 2 and have been very pleased with it.
As far as posting on here all I have ever done is to copy and paste the YouTube link. Any of my videos I have made are on YouTube under my account there.
All kinds of other options out there !

Sherry,
I know absolutely nothing about those cameras except that I'd like one.
Billyboy and I were running hard through some Brooksville twisties two weeks ago and another rider we met had one of those camera thingies mounted on his headlight bucket. He sent me the video and I must say it's movie quality, crystal clear. I was REALLY IMPRESSED
He sent me a disc because the file was too large. If I knew how to post it I would.

Sherry,
I post videos by simply cutting and pasting the url address right from You-Tube. Just copy the url....the whole address all the way up at the top of the page and paste it in the "insert hyperlink" here.
A friend of mine has one of the Go-Pro's, I think Bill does too, not sure, but it was a little pricey but his videos are simply amazing. He does white water stuff and helicopter flight videos, he flies Channel 2's helicopter, and really brutalizes that camera. He told me he tried them all and the Go-Pro is the best he has found.
As far as Doug's pictures..WTH Doug. That has to be some of the best pictures I have seen in a long time, almost 3-D. What camera are you using?

Thanks Jeff, It's a Sony Cybershot pocket camera, nothing fancy or expensive. I paid $40 bucks for it from a kid in my office that says he only uses his smartphone now and links up to Facebook. I don't use social media, so it's perfect for me.
