I talked to the man at Sierra Electronics today about installing a CB radio on my 99 I/S that would intergrate with my existing OEM radio controls on the handlebars. He told me that there was nothing aftermarket that would work but that Yamaha has a CB radio still available that would work without much modifications. He said it was made by Clarion the same company that made the CB radios for the Valkyrie. Can anyone give me information what I can do to install a CB that will work with my present OEM setup? Thanks to all that help me with this. Hoosier Jaybird.

hey Jay,

The yamaha unit will plug and play with the Honda controls.  The only problem is that the wires are not long enough on the yamaha unit to reach if it was mounted under the trunk so you have to mount it under your seat.  Trim the center divider out of the back pockets of the battery box and it will sit there.
