Is anyone else tried to set up a Blue tooth Comm system on a Valk. I had/have a J&M 2003 CB installed that I brought over from My wing with backseat controls and co-rider plug in and was really getting tired of replacing $20 cables and still being tetherd to the bike. So I dropped $500 plus dollars into Sena blue tooth and now have a system working (Sort of). I have learned alot including how much bad/mis information there is out there and would like to compare notes with any one else that has tried it. I am a retired computer tech so am not totally ignorant of electronis but don't pretend to be a BT Guru either.

Mike I don't know the answer to your questions. However, im curious if you are abandoning your CB or are you going to be able to have both capabilities, CB and BT? I already have a CB system (using an Integrator IV, J&M helmet communication stuff and a Midland handheld) but would like to have BT also using my system. Any ideas? By the way I don't mind being tethered to the system.

I know exactly what a Integrator IV is. I have one in my garage that was my first attempt at CB about 4 bikes ago. Yes it should work but if you do not want to be untethered it would not be worth it.
Yes with either the OEM Goldwing system or J&M 2003 the rider is untethered and has BT Phone and GPS via the headset and via the BT Comm adaptor to Honda OEM or J&M has  intercom and CB. The co-rider has what they had before the mod.

My wife and I use a pair of Scala Q2 Pro's.
This lets us talk, listen to FM radio and each have our phone BT'd to our own headset.

If I could figure out how to add CB to this setup (without some $500 piece of audio hardware that replaces what I already have) I think I'd be set.

You could add a Sena SR10 BT radio adaptor and a Midland CB for about $225. That would give you CB and keep what you have.
