99 Interstate, radio and dash lcd display both dead. My trike guy checked the fuses, relays, etc, but can't find the problem. Someone had mentioned a faulty Interstate radio wiring harness for one of the years, but wasn't sure which. Before it died completely, I thought the volume was going up & down totally unrelated to the speed. Prior to the demise of the radio & display, my left taillight assembly was intermittant, and my subwoofer stopped working. Figured it was a bad ground, but couldn't get at it. I get it back this coming Saturday morning, and would welcome any ideas about what to check, thanks for your thoughts!

MY display started doing that just before the battery died because of alt. not charging.

I have the same issue, the headlight (was unrelated actually) has since been fixed. Follow this thread, maybe it will help, particularily the one about the connector under the battery box. I have not yet had time to follow up and my radio is still dead. Everything else works great, just no radio or dash (fuel gauge works). I hope to diagnose this weekend and will post my results if I am able to find anything.
