I am also thinking about upgrading to the HD prog. shock ....  is there any advantage or disadvantage to using the 13 1/2 inch  shock versus using the 13 inch ....I am 6 ft. at 250 , ride alot solo but I do ride two up .... would it make for a bumpy  or stiff ride  ? ......  Thanks Old Geezer

12.5 in progressive is stock replacement for valk. Progressive has less sag. I run  13 in progressives on my I/S and it raised the rear up about an in. I'm 6'3" and I like the extra height  but it makes the bike lean hard on the kickstand. I runs the HD springs and Richard I've ridden with you at the mid winter ride I'ld think you'ld want the HDs.

I´m also 6'3" and 260 (don´t tell my wife, pls, i don´t like to go to bed hungry). I have the Progr 440 HD in 12". I ride only 1 up, and like them a lot. I have them on the lowest setting.
