I remember taking a rafting trip with a big group once. We were one person shy of filling my raft so they stuck the photographer in with us. We'd charge ahead and put her out before allt he really cool rapids. She would tell us where she'd be. We'd wait for all the other rafts to go, then we'd go and pick her up on the other side.
Everybody else looked scared and like they were falling out of the rafts. We always looked posed and confident. It was funny when they did a slide show/sales pitch when we got back to the clothes changing area.
It is good to know where the photographer is.

The windshield isn't practical for me between the months of June and September in the deep south. I know opinions vary on this topic, but I have found that the combination of mesh riding gear and a full flip up fulmer with no windshield is PERFECT for riding in the deep south when the temps are sky high. IMO.
That is one great shot of Joe. I wish I lived around roads like that!

If you look at that picture closely, the car tire STILL has more rubber on the road than the front tire does.

Not a nay sayer.....However in the photo there is a lot of shadow. I have personaly followed Joe for thousands of miles while riding hard in the twisties and watched the car tire in the turns. While it works for some, the fact is it does not have more contact with the road while in a lean. I AM NOT saying it doesn't work......Just not for me now or ever!

A FLAMING DEATH THREAD!?!?! Detn8er - recently you got to chase a sport-type bike through the dragon... I looked for pictures on Killboy on what I thought was the right date... did you ever see any of the pictures? I think a picture of a sport-bike running from a Valkyrie on the dragon would be a cool picture... -Mike

A few years ago he was at the two wheel in at a cookout with some guest and we were having a pleasant conversation when I asked him to take a picture of my monkey on the bike for the front page and I would buy some photos from him.....His reply to me word for word was"That's OK I make plenty of money". I didn't give him any crap but I knew at that point he would NEVER touch a penny of mine.

Don't know my friend but I'm thinkin' the Cooper Zeon 2XS has a much better " patch " than a motorcycle tire. Plus it looks cool

I love the wind and it's the main reason I don't care for the Interstate . I've thought several times about selling mine. I had a 1994 Goldwing and did'nt keep it long for the same reason. I've spent enough on bling for this bike to fund a small war but I just don't like all the wind protection. Guess I could always cut down the windshield and pull the Baker Air Wings . But on the other hand blocking all that wind is sweet when it gets cold

Now you have two warm weather Valks and cold weather Valk. I'm very jealous!

pretty good bit of contact zone shown in this pic. Ain't trying to start an argument cause, I'll be the first to admit, CT's are not for everyone. But I don't think you can say they hold the road less than a MC tire.

Can't Joe, I have Ryan here with me now. He's telling me about his trip to the Zoo this week. It's like a disease I have ......if I don't let him stay with me at least every other weekend I have a terrible feeling of guilt. It's been that way since his birth. He don't know this yet but it's him I think of when things get tough.....If he can over come his problems then mine are nothing.
