 What's the best rear tire for the money? At sixty three I've set all the speed records I'm going to set. I just need something that's economical and safe under 90 MPH.

The Avon Cobra is a dual compound tire. Mine has 25K miles on it and I'm still not down to the wear bars. It's close but not yet. Yes, it's the rear tire.

I'm not complaining about Cobras, that's what I run, I got roughly the same mileage with a
Metzler.... 6 or 7K...   40-42 lbs.... we all get similar mileage around here... I guess the roads are
the difference?

The best tire for the money is a car tire!

Go DARKSIDE

You'll get three times the mileage of a motorcycle tire

and it'll cost one third of what a motorcycle tire costs.
