going on that high ramp from 8 onto 10 west when i noticed the valk not leaning in the curve, the loud tire noise soon confirmed the fact ,a rear flat, 400 feet in the air at 45 mph, 2-up. the dunlop did well and soon we were on the shoulder of hy 10 watching at least 3 valks go by never noticing(they were on the hov lane) i think a passenger on a dark valk saw us
tried puting air in the tire with the slime pump, to no avail but now the battery was dead!
that s why we were not at omar s last night. we re opening a lemonade stand soon! Grin Grin 2funny

That sucks.  We had been wondering about you, but didn't know what happened, or how to contact you.  You have my cell phone number now (by email yesterday), so in the future, give me a holler, and we'll get you back on the road.

Glad you got 'er shut down safely.  Flat rear tire can make turns rather... interesting.

.... ,a rear flat, 400 feet in the air at 45 mph, 2-up. ....

Sorry to hear it, I hate those high overpasses that are so popular now.
And the three-foot concrete wall isn't too motorcycle-friendly either.
Glad you made it down OK.

turns out it was the stem leaking. someone had mentionned to me the fact that the stems on the valk did not have clips (45 degree metal stems)well they never were clips on there since i got the bike . now i know
gave me a good excuse to get a new bike lift to take the wheels off. we re still triyng to leave monday for frisco! Smiley

DANG Franco6!!!!
I was wondering if you were going to take care of that before you had an experience!
Those clips ARE there for a reason!
Glad you got through it without hurting you or your bike.
I keep my used ones as spares in the side bag.
Ride Safe!!!
