The last opportunity to see Texas Raiders fly this year will be on Saturday November 2.   If you want to do something special that day, the particulars are below. Tours of the airplane will be available, conducted by crew members.  Admission for a tour of the airplane is $5 for adults and $3 for kids.  Based on the schedule for tours and flights, I’d recommend arriving at the field around noon. Tours will stop at 1:00, and the plane will fly at 2:00. Of course we are selling rides, too. If anybody wants the once-in-a-lifetime experience of flying in a B-17, rides are $425 for a 30 minute flight, by reservation only. Call 855-FLY-A-B17 for a flight reservation.

Let us know if you'll be there!

F Y I.....  That was NOT a CAF  plane that went down today.  It was a Galveston plane, not related to the CAF.

Afterthought.... I had won a ride on it a couple weeks ago at a warbird gathering.  Was scheduled to fly late November.  ( Whew) !!!!
