that you torque last on a rear end service. My stealer wants $4.29 each plus Mo. tax.  crazy2 H D L gets $3.08 BUT i'm not getting enough stuff to warrant free shpg.  Lips Sealed Stopped at the Suzuki dealer-he has the correct nuts but they are $1.82 each plus Mo. tax.  Undecided STILL spinnin my frikkin wheels!!  crazy2 So I go over to my local Ace Hardware affiliate who does have a very nice selection of metric hardware.  coolsmiley After a little searching a store worker and I FINALLY found the nuts-which B T W are M-10 fine pitch-for-is ya ready-ta da-$1.50 ea plus Mo. tax.  cooldude When I got the M/C the nuts were a little messed up and now for my own peace of mind more than anything-they will be replaced with new ones which B T W have a nice bright chromy looking finish.  cooldude The old ones will go in the Valkyrie spare parts box.  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

Don't have an Ace here anymore but Home Depot and Lowes are like 2-3 miles from my house and they too have a good selection of metric nuts, bolts, and washers. Home Depot seems to have a bit better selection.

They both have that little plaque there with nuts and threaded studs to test for the right size and pitch (metric and standard). Kinda wish I had one of those at home, it'd come in handy.

I don't know about the Ace store but I believe that Lowe's bolts and nuts are #2 grade. I like #5 or #8 grade myself.

I guess that depends on which bolts your after.

A few years ago I needed longer bolts for a brake caliper and they needed to be as strong or stronger as the original factory bolts.
After I researched the brand of bolts Lowes has (can't remember the name now) they were better than the original.

They were grade 8.

I agree. These are very handy.
In my garage I have 2 sets of similar items (metric and SAE):

IMHO more useful then a plaque on the wall. I can carry these anywhere I need to check a bolt or nut size.  cooldude
