Hey 98pacecar

I think they are both good products.

I owned my Valk for a year and I did not know that my tank had a lot of dirt and crude.
I used Techron before and no issues, I used Seafoam and it loosened the dirt which cased me some other issues (long story on another thread).  Smiley

Someone could assume that Seafoam worked better at cleaning the dirt, I bought Techron before when it was on sale and will now buy Seafoam cause it is on sale.

I guess it is like asking about tires and oil, everyone has an opinion.

that is not that good of a deal at autozone.   Normal price is 10.99 way, way overpriced ends up being 7.33 per can when you buy 3 of them at autozone.  I can get same 16 ounce seafoam can at local farm and fleet for 6.50 everyday normal price or menards has it everyday price of 6.48 all the time.

I sure as heck shop menards and farm and fleet 100x's more than autozone who wanted to charge me 5.50 per NGK spark plug for my Can Am ATV same exact spark plug at Advanced Auto Parts was 2.33 each normal pricing.

Unless you get good sale pricing,  autozone is overpriced on most of their products, at least near me anyways.  The one good thing though autozone will do is price match local competitors pricing which I have had to do a few times.

I think it was an honest question, he is a new member, don't think he meant to get at anyone or any group of people

I think techron is more for severe useage (stronger doseage needed) but seafoam is more for normal,  once in awhile, usage, if that makes any sense at all?    Undecided Undecided

I missed this.  Why?
Had to do with AutoZone canning an employee that saved his Manager who was being held by a robber in the office.  The employee went out to his vehicle, retrieved his firearm, came back and forced the robber to leave.  No one hurt.  AutoZone canned him for violating the no firearms policy.

I'm sure Autozone would have been much happier if their store had been robbed, or their manager had been hurt.  Idiots!

I have even driven several miles out of my way passing 2 of their stores to shop at an Advance instead.

Forget Auto Zone, way over priced.......

Advance Auto on the other hand...... With  the right coupon it is very hard to beat Advance Auto.

Coupon Code ES123 is $20.00 Off $50.00.  A Gallon of Sea Foam (128oz) is equal to 8 - 16oz cans and is priced about 20 bucks less anyhow if bought by the gallon jug vs the can.  If you buy the Gallon/128 oz jug and use the coupon ES123  it ends up being  a gallon or 8 cans@ $3.75 per 16 oz can with coupon code!   I order and picked up my gallon of it at Advance Auto this morning... order on line and pick up at my local store.

Thanks for the info. on that.  I also think still, not sure haven't checked in awhile, that Farm and Fleet also sells the gallon jug of seafoam even cheaper than the 6.50 per 16oz. can thinking around 40-45 bucks.  I haven't checked in awhile though so not sure they have it anymore but hard to beat Farm and Fleet for most automotive uses.  One 16 ounce can of seafoam lasts me one season of riding so I don't really need the gallon jug.

I don't see it listed in the gallon... but do see it for 6.50 a 16oz can tho.  http://www.farmandfleet.com/s/?fc=&ft=sea+foam    There is no Farm and Fleet close to me anyhow.  Seafoam doesn't have a shelf life I imagine, and with the 4 bikes, mowers, blowers and throwers, a car and truck... I think I will not only save money initially, but next year as well... by not having to buy any.

The gallon I picked up today was like 34 bucks with tax etc.... using that $20.00 off coupon.
