thanks for showing me some new roads to ride.  I thought we had some weird names for towns around here like Lulu and Bland.  Where did they come up with Trilacoochee and Croomacoochee?  By the way there is a town near Tampa with my last name.  Parrish, one branch of our tree went South and was into farming in Central Florida.

Trilacoochee  is located inbetween Trilby  to the west and Lacoochee to the east . Croomacoochee is north of Lacoochee and east of Croom .
There are members of the Parrish family located in the Laccochee /Dade City /San Antonio area.

thanks for the explanation.  I am likely related to most of them, although our branch of the tree stayed up here in the Northern part of the state.

I was Glad that you could meet and ride with us yesterday Terry. Hope to be able to do it again soon.
There is also another Place Farther South Named Withlacooche.
I tell Sherrie that when she is with me, I'm  Withlacoochee. And at when she is not with me, I'm Withoutlacoochee. LOL.

As you went north from Trilacoochee you passed over the Withlacoochee River . Its an Idian name . I've seen several meanings to the word , winding river crooked river and also found Big little river .
As you continued north on 301 ,you crossed another bridge over the lLittle Withlacoochee river just before you came to Croomacoochee .

The Withlacoochee River is one of those oddities which flows north .
