Congratulations!  I know where there is a Valk rear tire whose bead needs to be broken.  I also know where there is a Trailhopper whose tires need to be replaced.  How small do it go?

Merry Christmas, Stan! We should probably give Brenda an "atta gal" for being supportive of your habbit, I mean hobby. Behind every good tire man... She does know about the new toy, doesn't she?

Did you paint it to match "our" static balancer?

I'll be busy changing the rake on this front end today if anyone would like to stop by. Bring leaf bags! ~Jeff

Dave,
I bought the adapters to do small stuff also.  I think it will go down to 6" wheels and up to bigger than I got on anything.  However, the only thing that was missing in the shipment was the plastic rim protectors to fit the motorcycle and ATV adapters.  Called the seller and they are mailing them ASAP.

Jeff,
Brenda didn't know anything about it UNTIL a semi pulled up in front of the house and blocked the drive way and she couldn't get out.  I was heading out the drive on the fork lift and she got a hint that something was up.  After I was forced to confess, she laughed and told me I was crazy.  Now she is looking at new toys to get even.  Personally I don't think a BMW 328i Convertible is a fair trade for a tire machine and I may need some help to convince her that my opinion is correct.

Good luck on that one. I know how much my input would put you back w/ Brenda! Maybe it will work out that you get some boot on the dealings? Keep us posted.

How many deep are you on tire jobs this morn? ~Jeff

Simple solution for you to convert 220 to 110:
Cut one of the prongs off the plug.  Then you're only getting half the connection.  Half the connection => half the voltage.  Problem solved.

I'm beginning to think there's something to this caffeine theory.

Typical NASA solution to a problem - but it don't work.  What you have to do is put a tourniquet on that wire and squeeze it down to 110. ???

Rocketman, your solution would work in the states, but across the pond they only have one hot and one ground.
The potential across the two is 220v. You need a transformer to get there.
Not trying to be a smartypants, just FYI.

I know.  I was joking around.  It isn't nearly as funny at 2PM as it seemed to me at 1AM.

He has 220 at the wall, he needs it to step down to 110 before it fries the 110 device.
