Tire Availability

I've made the decision to go to the Darkside. I've received great feedback on the Yokohama Neova, but it appears that it is only made in 205-55/R16. I'd really like to go with a 60 or 65 profile to maintain the same or perhaps a little lower RPM at cruising speed. Soooo, my next choice was the Faulken Ziex 512. I look on the Discount Tire website and it shows that the 512 is only available in the 215 and 225 widths. Just my luck. Has anyone tried the Ziex 612 or have any other recommendations?
Thanks,
Randy

I've had good luck with the General Altimax 205-60-16. However, as you are new to the forum, you'll get a lot of differing opinions. Just search for "darkside".

Hey Randy , I have had great luck and slow wear on my Michelin Pilot 205-55-16 I bought from Sam's Warehouse going on 4 years ago in Dec. with about 34,000 +- miles and cost me about $135.00 at that time .... This Michelin Tire is a Plain Jane passenger tire without the aggressive tread design like some other tires and a low top speed rating which lets the side wall flex in tight turns .... I'll never go back to a Plain Jane M/C tire ever again .... Thanks the Geezer
