This is what we know.  The info comes from Carol Hettenbach, Aaron's wife.  These will be extracts from two emails from CarolHettenbach@msn.com :

Quote
The only e mail site is this one for now.  I'll be sure to save any and pass them along when he's able to view them.

I hope you don't mind,.. I have to ask.. do you have any kind of monetary support for a downed biker.. We are both only on Social Security and Navy retirement.. I have never asked for help from any one but the expenses of hotel and travel are mounting.. I am sorry to ask but please let me know .. Again he is at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center on Pepper in Colton.

wow, this is very sad as he was really looking forward to this ride with his daughter and son-in-law.  he was going to be on a month long trip with some great destinations for sure.  I have wrote to Carol about where to send donations and well wishes.    i met them last year at the VOAI Family Reunion and they were just the neatest couple and loved that blue valk trike they had which Carol painted herself and I know he just finished up his trailer too for the trip.  very sad news but if I know Aaron he will be strong and fighting all the way to get better and then back on his trike.  Hang in there buddy!

Yes, I have been in contact with Carol and being a banker know they can set up a Fund at most local banks or credit unions.  She is going to talk it over with Aaron and their credit union they belong to.  She was most grateful for the suggestion and will let me know.  In the mean time she said she can be reached at her email addy and looks forward to hearing from you and will pass along best wishes and prayers to Aaron.  I will update with his condition changes when I hear back from Carol next time.  I did ad a link in my last post at the bottom of pics of Aaron and Carol and their BLUE TRIKE from our trip last year to the Black Hills.

Carol can be reached here if you would like to pass anything on to her or can be contacted at the Motel listed below but she might be at the hospital most day time hours.

Thanks!

I have received some more e mails.. asking for our address.. I can't thank everyone
enough.. I realized how tough it is for all of us right now.. So thanks to all .. Even
if someone just wants to send a card.. thanks at least the thoughts...
Here's the address:
Aaron and Carol Hettenbach
3386 N. Greg Drive
Prescott Valley AZ 86314
I tried to get a picture of Aaron today... but he wasn't in a very good mood..
It is getting to him now.. He has always been active.. and now since quitting
drinking he was really getting out there.. so this bed thing isn't going over well.
I'll keep you up dated..
thank again to all
