I had an Avon Cobra front tire put on this week and today was the first day I got to ride and try it out.  At low speeds it's bumpy, handlebars bouncing up and down some.  At highway speeds it's fine.  What's causing that?

Could be out of balance, could be over inflated, could be a bad tire. I think the Cobra is a bit more sensitive to over inflation than the Venom.....try 36 psi instead of 40+

If it's out of balance, you might want to try Dynabeads..

If it's a bad tire, Avon is known to stand behind their products

When you put your front wheel on did you aline the forks by pushing  on them a few times before tighting the pinch bolts. If not the forks will bind and it will ride rough.
