I know this is more tech than general but so what. There is a rider broke down on the way to Inzane with a rear wheel bearing out. Trouble is the inner race is gone.

How has anyone pulled the outer race (outside of bearing) out of the wheel when the inner half of bearing is gone?

When mine went on the Blue Grass Parkway a few years ago the dealer cut it out with a torch. uglystupid2

I believe the dealer in Lexington used a drummel tool to cut it out.

Thanks all, issue resolved, a Dremel cutoff wheel was used. Feel free to post any other ideas for historical puposes.

That was the 3rd set since I got the bike.  tickedoff  Did 2 things when I got back to Chicago, bought a wheel and a complete set of bearings, spacer, etc.. The wheel I got from another Valk rider that replaced his with fancy chrome so I only paid about 50% of what the dealer was asking.
