Difference between the 1999 and 2000
«

Hi all,
I just survived a wreck with my 2000 Standard. I am now looking at a 1999 interstate. Other than the obvious accessory differences between the two modles, is there anything different in the drivetrain between the 1999 and the 2000?
Thanks,
Ring

Drivetrain-wise would be the ignition control module. Has a little faster ignition advance curve. Different carb needle springs, lighter weight. Gearing is the same as is the final drive. Slight difference in rear brake caliper/pad combo but nothing worth mentioning. That's about it. If I overlooked something I'm sure someone will pick it up. If I were buying today, I'd be looking for an Interstate too.
