Took a recent trip to Story Indiana. Made a day of it, winding along the back roads of Southern Indiana in Brown County. It's a great ride....just getting there. Story is "A quaint Village" located approx. 10 miles South of Nashville, Indiana. If you ever get the chance or just happen upon the place, stop for a cold drink and a sandwich (I like the Angus burgers and a Coke) and walk around for a while looking at the gardens or the rooms at the Inn. A great small place to visit that isn't well known but has a long history as well as a few ghost stories too.   Ride Safe !!

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Story is nice.  I used to deer hunt back there... but so did a lot of other fools, so I went elsewhere.

If you get that close to Stry... don't miss out of HWY 45 from Bloomington to Bean Blossom.  That's our version of Deal's Gap.

It ain't Deals Gap... but it's the best we got in Indiana IMO.

135 is nice going into and leaving Story, along with 58 from I65 to 135. North of 46, Salt Creek road to Gatesville, then Sweetwater road north to Beech Grove road to Ninevah.  Lightly traveled  and curvy.

I've ridden (and driven these) and more.  Roads in the Hoosier National forest aren't Deals Gap but light  traffic makes up for it. Smiley
