Taco Mundo, the much-anticipated new concept from Carolina Galvan-Rodriguez (Mi Cocina) debuts July 24 in Fort Worth (4120 Highway 360, No. 101). The Dallas outpost (10720 Preston Road, No. 1101) will follow August 4.

Urban Crust in Plano (1006 E. 15th St.) is celebrating its grand opening on July 23 with a ribbon cutting ceremony from 5–7 p.m. Head on down to check out the wood-fired pizza and other Italian offerings to the tune of a live DJ. (Oh, and Plano’s mayor is gonna be there, so tuck in your shirt.)

The opening of the Flying Saucer’s newest location (4821 Bass Pro Drive, Garland) couldn’t come at a better time. Beginning next Monday, July 27, you can work your way through the draft emporium’s vast selection of beers from around the world on the sunny shores of Lake Ray Hubbard.

You and me both. I love Flying Saucer but hate driving to N Dallas for it.
