Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Am headed down to a beachfront condo on Anna Maria Island that my sister and I own for the Holidays.
Christmas eve dinner will consist of fresh Stone Crab and fresh Gulf Shrimp.
Christmas dinner will be a standing rib roast..haven't had one of those in years!
Day after I am making my fish chowder from a family recipe. Grew up in the keys
so the recipe is pretty good. Now quit your drooling and listen up...................
Hug your loved ones and tell them how much they mean to you....thank a Vet for allowing you the feedom to do so.....and thank whatever God you worship for the health to be able to enjoy the the road and the wind. Thank the person that instilled in you the legacy you harbor that drives you to the great outdoors.

Back at you Pappy, sounds like some good eatin' is afoot. We used to spend time on Long Boat Key at the Key Club. Always liked to eat at the little out-of-the-way spots the locals use. After going over there for a number of years you get to know where they are. Haven't been back in a couple years now, we really like the Gulf Coast. And much to my despair, my wife likes to shop in St. Armands.  Have a Merry and a Happy. |

Yep - Sometimes I swear that I feel Mom's presence there still. She loved that place.
Christmas was her favorite time of year by far so my sister and I are trying to get together every year there and have Christmas together.

A very Merry Christmas to all. I envy those of you able to ride today. Not much chance here since we go back to Ohio for the holidays. Could ride a snowmobile today if I still had one. Looking forward to Jan. 4th and hoping to have the Valk down to Fl before the end of Jan.

As per the season, been under the weather the last few days and putting the Valk back together after routine servicing. Hope to ride out a little Saturday!
Thanks Gil, not looking good for 2014 Alaska run as I have most of the year penciled in already, but ya never know!
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Sherri and Bert's!
