Riding home Saturday morning (1:30am) and the front headlight goes out for about 3 minutes then comes back on.  I have a Cobra light bar wired into the system at the light that is on during low beam utilization and off during high beam.  Is there a heat sensor or something like that that would cause the light to go off?  It was hot riding even at 1:30am.  Or do I just need to check all the connections?  Did not have a problem the rest of the weekend.  Just seemed strange that it would do that and then come back on for the rest of the ride. TIA for suggestions.

Check the connections on the back of the bulb and the bulb itself I have had them flicker when going out.

It could be on it's way out.

I have had bulb filaments break and then, a bounce or two later, they "weld" themselves back together for a period of time.
1) Buy your spare bulbs now to have on hand
2) checked your connection behind the bulb
