Dagnamit. I had just gotten to work last night (mids) thinking about InZane this weekend when I got the phone call. The G/F had taken her bike out for a ride. When she got home one of the dogs ran out to her. G/F zigged, the bike zagged. Gravel driveway.
She’ll be ok, just a broken taillight and side plate.
Err,
aah,
ahem,
She be alright but separated her collarbone and scrapped some skin from her elbow and hand. ER Vet gave her a handful of happy pills. Not much more they can do for that.

SO, I get to tend to G/F, the livestock, and put her bike (ZN700 ltd) back together this weekend. No hardship a good single malt could not help get me through.

She gave me a long look right before drifting off into la-la land and said:"Really, you could go to the bike thingy this weekend. I'll be ok."

I might just have to get the G/F some flowers.

Y’ALL HAVE FUN AT INZANE NOW, Y’HEAR

As we all know, Just a little change in punctuation transforms this statement dramatically and shows it's TRUE translation:  "Really?  YOU could go to the bike thingy THIS WEEKEND? I'LL be OK!!"
