Hey guys my Valkyrie been sitting for about two months here in Michigan the other day I was in the garage and noticed a anti freeze leak from bottom of timing belts cover wiped it off but looks like it's coming from behind cover, there was nothing before the cold spell we just got. Any ideas on what might have caused this to happen

Pretty common ...most likely the upper radiator hose clamps being loose. At least that was my problem when I had the same thing happen. Just tighten em and you'll be good to go.

+1 Almost all of them that have a leak, have a leak at the clamp on the thermostat housing. There ARE other possibilities, but start there cooldude

Cold temps have a tendency to make the hose connections contract a bit.  Tighten up the hose clamps a bit (not overly tight, just a bit tighter) and all should be good.  Had that same problem on a few of my water cooled bikes....

To be good, and to do good, is all we have to do.

I just posted the very same issue.
- Unbolt the radiator (just 2 bolts at the top)
- Behind the radiator you will see the hose clamp that is your problem

To make your life easier down the road;
- Flip that hose clamp around and point it towards the opening on the left side of the bike. In the future you will only have to use a long screw driver to tighten it.  cooldude
