Float needles from Honda can be rather expensive. Here is a link to where you can buy K&L float needles for a very reasonable price.

  I see you referred to often on here; Attic Rat.Maybe you can answer my question of what kind of piston rings came in a '97 Valkyrie;chrome , moly, cast, ect.

I would guess chrome but that is just a guess. I haven't pulled any pistons out yet but next month when I get time I have an engine that I am going to split the case and change the crankshaft, rods and pistons. I will take a look when I do that.

Before you jump on those float needle valves take a look at this image. It's an aftermarket float needle valve off a Goldwing. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Looks pretty nasty. I think the float needles that attic rat is talking are made by the same mfg that Honda uses, he just might of found them somewhere else cheaper. A float needle valve from Honda is $25 and some change for each one. The ones he found are less than $25 for all 6. Might have to PM him and ask.
