Pulled the rear end to replace my Car tire. I have used Guarddog, Honda. and Bellray. Guarddog seems a little thin but may penetrate, Honda is so,so saw were many didnt like it, didnt last long. Used bellray twice. First pull still looked good. But my fault let it go over 20K on this CT. The spline has rust. With the CT dont pull stump til 20 or more. Any body have any luck with any brand going over 20K?

I pull mine every year or every 10 k miles. Last couple times I have used valvoline moly mixed with a waterproof marine grease. This is a touchy subject, no one really knows what to use, and dont get themstarted on the weep hole in the pinion cup .

I think it's less the grease, than the frequency in which you do this. Anything you listed (other then Honda brand) will work.
20K is too long for tearing apart the rear for spline lubrication. Every 10K is optimal. I pull the rear tire at the minimum once a year (sometimes twice) even with the car tire just to redo the splines.

10 K is the highly recommended mileage between rear end maintenance. About 11 K is the longest I've pushed it and I use Guard Dog. Lots easier to maintain it than replace it. And in the long run-less expensive. RIDE SAFE.

thought I had rust at 20k. after closer inspection is was copper anti-sieze from the factory. I now use that first then use TS-70 moly grease. research copper anti-sieze IMO it should always be used first thin coat then the moly grease. these goldwing experts have recommended new moly grease every 40k in the pass. http://www.jbjcycles.com/p/services.html

I use a high shear, waterproof grease made by Royal Purple. Sorry not at home so can"t see the name. I have over 170K on this bike and splines still look like new. The last time I pulled my tire for service all I did was add a little fresh grease and buttoned it back up.

Recently I reported about my rear Avon Cobra going almost 27K miles. I didn't service the drive in that time. I've used Bel Ray till the last change. This last tire I used Lucas EP #2. The tire went from 112K to 139K and the splines were fine. No measurable wear.

Evidently any grease you used is working for you, but I would suggest a new seal at every service or at least every other service and be sure that your drive shaft boot is in good shape and seated correctly.
