The doctors went ahead and did the heart surgery.  Removed a tumor the size of a golf ball.  They said her hear was almost as big as an adults.  But that it'll return to normal.

Things went so well, they never had to put her on heart assist machines, and her newly reconstructed heart is doing it all on it's own, without any help at all.  She was VERY stable overnight last night, and her color is better.

They have her off the vent.  She's alert and they are controlling her pain with tylenol with codeine.

They still are not SURE about the neurological issues, but she seems to be improving daily.

That's where we need to focus the energy now.  On her brain.  Try to get her brain all rewired so the damaged parts don't hinder her too much.

Better news could not have been asked for.  Absolutely wonderful.  Although, I am not a very religious man, I know a miracle when I see one. angel  Prayers will continue to be sent for a speedy & full recovery.

Reminds me of the miracle Jesus performed on a blind man.  After giving his site back, he proclaimed " people are moving about like trees! " to which Jesus says another prayer ( rewire the brain is my thought here ) and everything is fine!
