Engine guard diameter

Fellas what is the diameter of the engine guard tubing? I am not home where I can measure and am going to order some P-clamps for some auxiliary lights. Thanks in advance.

The engine guards vary in diameter depending on where you are going to do an install. Out in the 3/9 Oclock positions, it is 1 1/8".
Assuming you would instal your clamps just outboard of the IS pods, 1 1/8" is probably right, but I would measure where you will instal just to be sure.

Except the pod mounts for IS, all Valk guards are the same (I'm 99% sure).
1 1/8" may do it, but measure anyway. Shimming too-big clamps sucks, and too-small are worthless. Right at the top, or an inch down may only be 1".
With a Std, I like something like these. Not enough room with the pods for IS. 3.5" spots will fit in the space better than the usual 4 to 4.5 inchers.
