I'm planning to lead a chapter ride in March to the Shed in Edom from DFW.  This is not only because I like this destination, but also to celebrate my anticipated return to motorcycling after a 4½ month absence from riding in the wind.  My last ride was Oct 20th returning from the Texas Hill Country ride so I am really looking forward to this trip.  Been starting and heating up the bike weekly - the carbs aren't gummed up - so with a little air in the tires, I'll be ready to ride.

The date I am planning is Sunday, March 9th.  I could also do it on March 8th.  While there is no reliable forecast for that weekend, rain isn't out of the question  Evil

Please vote so that I can plan accordingly.

Route details will be published as a separate topic closer to the day of the event.

I like to ride, I like eat, I like to celebrate, what about me? I've been to Edom, I know a nice route to ride alone on my way up there, my Valkyrie runs pretty good, you probably won't have to work on it when I get there and I know my way back home.

Eli, I'm just leading the ride from DFW.  If someone happens to be there at the same time, I'm good with it.

As I finish up the details, keep an eye out for the expected arrival time.  Hope to see you there.

Sounds selfish doesn't it? Maybe some of the members from this Southern chapter might want to ride also. Hope we can all make the trip.

I voted busy, but I was thinking Feb.  If I'm able to make it I would have to vote the 8th.

I'm gonna infect the group by riding what Brew1Brew calls an "inferior machine".  Not to worry, I have a new batch of antibiotic samples here in the clinic from the drug reps.  I'll bring those along.

An inferior machine with a superior rider just about evens things out coolsmiley

It will be good to share wind with you on any machine.

Ely
I may be interested in joining you near Livingston about 8AM Sunday for the ride up. Or were you planning on going thru Woodville?

Hey Marcus, my route would be thru Woodville, Crockett, Palestine, 315 to Poynor, 314 to Edom. But a month or so from now, that could change to something of your choice.

LOL  Evil
Maybe "inferior machine" was a bit harsh! Cause it does have Superior tech. And as Mark pointed out a Superior rider. Heck I won't even ask them to make you ride in the back of the pack  Evil

This thing still a go?  Any idea as to times and locations?  Just want to be sure I'm at the right place at the right time. L

This is still a go.  I'll post route and meet up times later this week.

Sorry - it's been busy at the ranch.
