Looks like a good turn out, glad your weather down there was nice. At 8:00am this morning I couldn't see the other side of the fareway out back....about 150 yards. Nobody should ride in fog like that.

It was great to meet up with some of you FL riders.  Damp starting out, but really turned into a beautiful day!  Got shown some great backroads on the way back.  Thank you!

Thanks for posting some pics of your ride TJ. Looks like y'all had a good time. Glad it cleared up for you guys down that way. I half expected you to post some kind of thread like this... Grin. Call me what you want to, I don't ever ride in the rain and fog if I don't absolutely have to. Until next time... cooldude

cooldude A good gathering today, just a relaxed run over to Avon Park via Lithia Pinecrest, tried to avoid the mining roads but just had to take them anyway.... into Fort Mead and out 98 to Avon Park Cutoff road and then south a few miles to the gathering. Hit a bit of rain this morning on the mining roads but nothing I didn't expect. Nice to see the brethren today, had good tire kicking, we all ogled MP's sidecar and had good conversations. Nice meeting MP, and I think I was able to shorten his ride back up toward Dade City a little but didn't want to take him back through the mining roads with the sidecar on the way back due to the wet roads. There's some good twistys back there, but much better on a hot and dry day. Not a lot of miles today; 76 miles going and 84 coming back for a 160 mile ride. Looks like the Time Machine is going to need a bath in the morning, picked up quite a bit of road grime!
Hope we all can meet up together soon!

That was a VERY nice ride back, thank you. I love those back roads, going thru the citrus trees and such.  I loved it.  Hope to ride together again some time.

Thanks for organizing the ride, TJ. Started out foggy and rainy through Mulberry but the promise of good company and good food kept us going and it cleared up as we headed south. MP's Valk with a sidecar was a big hit. We might have to get one of those ... I like the idea of being able to fall asleep on a long ride and not boink my helmet into Todd's (or fall off!)  And TJ ... thanks for the dog and trailer pic. Would like to meet him (or her) on the next ride.

Wasn't me this time TJ, I was ready to roll even with some physical troubles. Rita was encouraging me to go but has recently been going through a phase she experiences periodically. I didn't feel comfortable leaving under those conditions. Today it's showing signs of letting up(first indication is she sleeps through the night) so maybe I can get to the gym for a couple hours.
