I recently had an accident on the way to the coast from S.Or.  I slid on some frost in a 20mph left turn in the mountains. The valk and I went into a ditch and down we went. The valk landed on its left side with the wheels up a bit . It sat there for at least an hour. When I got it home  a friend came over to help check it out. He pulled the spark plugs and we touched the starter and gas shot across the garage. The valk was hydrolocked but not damaged due to not trying to start it. I was very lucky. There was enough gas in the cylinders to have it pour out of the weep hole on the bottom of the left exhaust pipe. So everyone be careful if the valk is down for any considerable time. Oil and gas will fill up the cylinders and be hydrolocked. PS I was damaged also

Hello Art,
I hope you can repair yourself as fast as your Valkyrie!
Glad you're well enough to write about it though....
Keep us informed on your recovery....
And thanks for the info when being down for awhile....( the bike that is! )

Thanks guys. I'm looking at possible surgery on my clavicle since it is broken and out of alignment. I only took a 5 mph fall but it was a bad one . I'll heal.
