Not one but two toad stanglers. The first one wasn't so bad. Then the sky ahead was lookin better then not so good. Then the sky ahead was very dark. Thought about stoppin for raingear  Undecided but noooo, I thought we'd ride out of it. Man it was bad. Visibility got down to about 3 car lengths. Windshield so fogged up I had to share Carolina Girl's seat so I could see at all. Then as soon as I got on 40 the sun was out and all was good in the world of motorcycling.  Smiley
Had a good time today. It was good to see everyone.

We rode up into Western NC today just north of Hiawasee, Ga.  coolsmiley

Didn't know where we were headed when the ride started...

We didn't get any rain either.  Smiley

We had Al (Bandit), Thumper (Valk), Tony (Bergman), Bob (CBR 1100?) and me on the VTX.

Took a shortcut from lunch to the gas station and busted my lower spoiler - OOPS! Dumba$$.  Angry

Had 271 miles of good riding today.  cooldude

I went to a gunshow in Dawsonville and bought a new Bersa 380
http://www.bersafirearmsusa.com/detail_bersa380cc.php

Fits neatly into my big paw. Small enough to carry in a pocket next to my CCW permit  Smiley

Then on to visit some friends north of Blairsville near Murphy. They weren't in  Sad Then back to the gun show  Angry to pick up my drivers licence which I forgot to get back from the dealer.

I climbed under my house, under the ickiest slide-on-your-back with your nose scraping on
the main HVAC duct way up in the center, contorted into a pretzel and ran a speaker wire up into
the wall I am shimming out to get flat enough to hang drywall on. And while I was doing it, I was
thinking about how y'all were riding around on the BRP and 209 and having fun. Well... I was having
fun too, but you know what I mean...

Kinda makes riding in a downpour with small streams crossing the road sound pretty good.  cooldude

Were you able to get ammo for it? .380 ammo is as "sparse as toad hair" here in Hoosier land.
