Now there's a scenario you wouldn't normally conjure up: a pond of molten lava contained by ice

I was stationed at FT. Lewis, WA from 1982-83.

It is very beautiful there.

I spent alot of my time in Mt. Ranier National Park.

I hope to get back there again sometime.

She's pretty majestic but looking a little naked this summer.  Been warmer than usual here - she's usually quite a bit more snow covered, even in the summer.

Great ad, remember it well.

Defininitely had a little more snow last time I was there (several years ago).  Another ride I haven't done for a while is Hurricane Ridge, do you know what the road conditions are like there now?

No road problems at the ridge. Just watch out for the deer, they're pretty much domesticated from people feeding them from cars.  They see a vehicle and head right for it.

Should be a beautiful ride.
