We took off with ( 6 ) bikes in our group...Razor on a Valk IS ...Lucky 13 on a Valk IS ...Big Al on a Harley ...Paul on a Shadow...Jack on a Suzuki Thang ...Smokin'joe on BADMOJO .We hooked up with Normandog on his Interstate near the Tennessee/North Carolina line. The weather was outstanding the first part of the day and we had dry roads to ride on Hwy.209 and Hwy.63 both these roads are awesome on a bike.We stopped in Asheville,NC for lunch then hit The Blue Ridge Parkway. At the Pisgah National Forest the rain started and we waited it out for awhile but we did get wet for a few miles then the sun came out again ( welcome to summer time in the south ) .

Paul split off in Asheville and Normandog turned around at the Pisgah National Forest . Big Al and I split off at Sugarland and rode into Gatlinburg to check out the women then on to Pigeon Forge for some " Q " at Corky's . I did right at 400 backroad miles yesterday .

Joe,

I'd love to come up and ride with you guys some weekend.  If you could give me some notice early in the week I could plan to come up and get a room somewhere.....maybe drag Duffy with me.

What do you think?
