I ordered a set of Model CC Mick O Pegs for my 99 Standard.  With the pegs came two items in the picture below.  The holes are threaded.   What are they for?  I emailed Mick O Peg but got no reply.

Didn't they send any "Destructions" with the pegs? Tell ya what, pack em up and send em here and I'll be happy to figure it all out fer ya..   BUT you'll have to be patient, as it takes me years to get things done...

OR

You can wait til you get a reply from them.

Those are called couplers.  This should answer your question.
