East China Mi.

« on: February 26, 2014, 05:31:27 PM »

I've purchased a Honda-Line, Clarion  CB radio to be used on a Standard or a Tourer.  I have everything
EXCEPT for the controller braket that is captured by the left mirror shaft and holds the controller. What I'm asking is No.1: Does anyone have a braket that somehow your not using? OR No.2: Would someone be willing to take theirs off and make a paper or poster board template of it? I'd be happy to pay the shipping for the template that you could put into an envelope. I have a '99 standard  (Yellow and Cream) and would like to get this installed before riding season is upon us.

Thanks in advance for any and all help,
Larry Gill

Hi Larry I am just an hour away from you in London Ont. Have the same CB on my 98 Tourer.  Come over and you can make your own pattern or borrow mine to get one done. Did you get the antenna bracket as well?

Adrian, That sounds like a plan! If you would PM me with a phone number so we could connect, I'll be happy to come out your way. I've been there before for chrome plating work, a few years back.

Thanks I did a Map Quest had never heard of the city.

That picture I posted wasn't my bike but I do have that radio.

I play MP3 music through mine using the radio control.

Went to garage and looked at the bracket you need shouldn't

be a problem to make.
