If you're interested in learning or practicing your slow riding skills (not super slow on the rear brake) from a professionally trained police rider, this Saturday will be a good one. Helmet and boots required. Gloves suggested. No set fee for the course, but done on a donation basis that goes to charity. I've taken this course multiple times to learn and then to practice. Can't beat dropping a $20 in the bucket and getting this training/practice. Feel free to call me if you have questions.

I was just watching a video of slow ride competition.  It's amazing what some of these guys can do.
I try to practice and when I hit it right I can feel it.  Just wish I could hit it every time.

Sounds like a good class but I already have a commitment, could you post when you know this will be offered again?

Might be dicey.  The forecast moved showers and thunderstorms from Sunday to Saturday.

BUT, this is Texas, and the weather might could probably will change.   Wink

Rain held off until we were through so we got it in. He may do another one this year and I'm pretty sure he will do a parade style riding class this fall to teach basics they teach officers for side by side riding (as opposed to staggered). I'll try to give a heads up farther in advance on that one, which he usually does in September at the same location.

I would really like being at the next one.  Since I didn't come this time, the rain didn't, either  crazy2
