Just finished up servicing the rear end and driveline. I was wondering if the orientation of a rear shock is important. Obviously what shock goes to what side is important, but does it matter what way the shock faces to the outside?  Undecided  ???

Dont think it matters. I turned mine to were can read the setting at arrow outside. One note may want to check your bushings. They are known to wear.

can't adjust the one way I believe.
they can only be swapped from side to side if the bottom bushings are switched

Every time I service the rear end the shocks just get laid on the shelf. I am reasonably certain sides have been swapped as well as orientation. P O had buffed them out nicely and when they are off the bike a little elbow grease keeps em thataway!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
