I am installing a Dan Marc solenoid on the Valkyrie, I see that a member's instructional picture show a t-connection to the two fuel lines.

My question is can I just install the solenoid using the line that plugged in to the tank only?

It looks like I have to remove the air box to get at the T-connection on the bike.  So inserting the solenoid between the petcock and tank would work. Undecided

I installed mine without,, pulling the air box off.    coolsmiley

Bought the model without the filter, as it's shorter.

Used brass fittings with only 1 barb on em, as they are shorter, as well. ( got em at NAPA)

Worked fine, and I didn't have to fight the airbox back into place.   Wink

Did, put it where you are, suggesting..

I would suggest you pull the airbox, makes life so much simpler. Also if you haven't desmogged your bike, this is the time to do it. With the pair valves removed, it makes for lots of space for your Dan Marc valve. FWIW  Roll Eyes

I got my solenoid last week and im planning on pulling the air box and doing a desmog at the same time. Also putting in a relay off the auxiliary power leads behind the right side cover to power my speaker amp, solenoid, and usb charger, and led lights.
