Jeez .... I just gotta get to the board a little more often. It's 9:00 PM on Thurs Eve.. Guess I'm gonna miss another one.

A reminder of a suggestion I've made before, in fact at the very last meeting I remembered to attend (Quaker Steak). In the early days of the club we were frequently notified of club events/rides/meetings via e-mail. It was exceptionally effective and our participation was 10 fold what it is now. Ok .... maybe  5 fold. The point being, we all check our e-mail traffic frequently and the "Club" seemed more vibrant.

Enough yada, yada, yada. ..... Yoda, Out!

What Hayhauler said, Gunny.  There's still time.

And the e-mail list we have is so outdated and in such bad shape that it would only reach the regulars who read the board anyway.  It's hard to gather them from people who don't participate.  But I've got yours, of course!  cooldude

And yes, the meeting is still at 7:00 pm (1900 TOMORROW for the Gunny.)

Very nice meeting.  Ride report from Edom plus discussions of upcoming rides (HotGlues, Inzane, ride to Muenster) and then Valkpilot brought his saddlebag out and showed us all the tools he carries - basically, he has a Lowes warehouse in that bag.  But we did discuss the importance of being prepared when we ride and then got to show out new friend, Flying Filipino, all of our bikes and his '98 Standard (well chromed, by the way).  Plus - we got to see PlaneCrazyGal's Goldwing trike.  Nice.

Thanks, ValkPilot, for the meeting.

I got criticized the last time I showed what I carry in my tool bag too....... someone said that "it looked like I rode an HD with all of those tools".  Cheesy

But, I can repair almost anything, for most everyone, out on the road.

Most impressed. He even carries a dead blow hammer that we couldn't do without!
