I posted a thread awhile back asking if I have all the original Honda hardware to mount a Clearview

on my '97 standard. I do. Including an original Tourer windshield. So, I'm good to go in that regard.

I'm getting ready to order a new Clearview. I have no idea how to mount it once it gets here. Can

someone post pictures of how the brackets go onto the bike? And how the windshield attaches to the

brackets? Ok, so I'm dumber than a stump I guess, but there you go!  2funny  What can you do?

As long as I have my Valk, ya'll are stuck with me!

BigChris;

Are you asking about the brackets that mount on the triple trees?   There are two on the top tree and one that mounts under the headlight.

The top brackets (#3,4) mount under the top triple tree with one bolt each (#18)

The bottom bracket (#2) mounts to the top of the bottom triple tree, over the headlight bracket and is held on with two nuts  (#22)

The windscreen brackets (#13,14) are held to those brackets with an assortment of chrome bolts, spacers &, rubber grommits  (#15, 19, 21)

Clearview makes a shield to order that mounts with the oem brackets, without the hole for the headlight.  I have had one for years.  Also vent available along with the height  you want.   17 inches hight with a goldwing vent.  Hear is a pic.  Hoser  cooldude

I got the one with the vent. I was not told the vent would be dark on a clear shield. Talked to mark at clearview  and he told me all they can  get is the tinted ones. Anyone else have the same thing happen to them just curious.

Hoser, how tall are you? I'm 5'9". I"m thinking either the 17 or the 19". I have a stock seat on my standard with an AirHawk seat pad.
