As i had posted earlier message here on having trouble standing my Valk up and shoulder problem. I may have a bent kickstand. Or may have to modify one to help me in lifting. Any one have a Valk oem kickstand they would sell me?

Unfortunately, it's usually the frame that bends, not the stand itself.

PM me if you need a complete I/S kickstand. Standards and Tourers are a bit different.

I seem to remember you can loosen the sidestand mount bolts, shim two with washers and it supposedly stands the bike taller.  Also heard your bike can fall over the other way (into whatever it is parked next to) if your tire goes flat overnight.

Good point. I did see were the E-bay mounted jack adapter would serve same purpose as you describe. Which would be a extra plus to have it on. When recover I am going to consider it. Along with checking my kickstand and brackets as mentioned.

Don't discount the probability of the bike falling over.

I has happened occasionally, when in conjunction

with a modification of the side stand assembly.

I suggest to stay with your automobile until such

time as you are able to handle the bike in a

normal and proper manner.

Going to doc and therapy Mon. Actually I rode some and was doing great. Then parked in gravel lot. kickstand sunk up some. With shoulder extended out  ( doc told me to  not to do)  stood  bike up. Did fine for several miles. Then starting getting some light pain. next day couldnt lift my arm. I dont think anything pulled loose. I have rigged pulley and rope at chair to lift arm from my treatment before. So back to it and I can now lift my arm. So doing my home therapy while picturing in my mind riding on my Valk. My Valk has gave me motivation through complete recovery. Funny Huh. So maybe just need to build strength bk. into that shoulder.  Then bk. to the best therapy, riding.
*I did over the winter go to a 205-60 replaced 205-55 CT and raised shocks from low to 3. So did raise bike some. Could tell some dif. Wife could also.  So like said got to take out some of the lean of bike.

I've got a rt shoulder rotator cuff tear that acts up now and then and would like to find a kickstand foot that slips over the stock foot and gives a little lift.  I also put on an Austone Taxi Tire and bumped up the shock settings to 4.... But just a temp foot lift would be nice.  I know they made one for the VTX but don't recall one for the Valk.   Might have to get creative and make one from some Aluminum.

Rivco made those little tabs.    The ones they make now for the VTX will fit.   Ya do have to do a little grinding on it however.

Another way to lift your bike from the sidestand.   Get astraddle of the bike, turn the front wheel as far to the right as you can.    Now lift and it will almost pop up by itself..........   It gives you that little bit of lift to help you get it up.    This is one thing we taught in the MSF class for beginners, especially small ladies, & short men.

That definitely is true.  The trouble is when it fell over in the garage when it lost air, it fell into my classic mustang,I had to repair and repaint my trunk lid.  Angry  Hoser
