I just bought a 2003 Goldwing but it doesn't have a cb like my 99 valk Interstate. Can I swap the radio to the Goldwing and just get a new antenna ? Anybody ever done this? I nearly croaked when I looked at the price of the 1800 Goldwing CB's on ebay !!  Thanks

I DO NOT KNOW the answer-BUT look at the connections and see if they are compatible. Or find a good C B shop near you. OR someone that knows may chime in. RIDE SAFE.

I don't know either.......but the price for CBs for bikes is outrageous.   I wanted one for mine on those rare occasions I might have a need or urge....... So I spent under a hundred bucks and picked up a Midland 75-822 CB unit.  It's a mobile and/or hand held.  What I like most of all is no need for an external antenna and it has a power adapter so you can remove the battery pack and plug in the radio with a power port.  It also has the capability for an external antenna if need be.  It will suit my occasional needs and give me more money for gas, oil, chrome.....or whatever and I can carry the CB on another bike or in the car/truck if I want.

Go gl1800riders.com and ask that question on the tech board. LARRYM is on there and he is a radio tech with all the answers.

No.  The connector is different.
