Coppell Motorcycle Rodeo is coming up.

http://www.cgpolicemotorrodeo.com/

COMPETITION AND BIKE SHOW: MARCH 22, 2014
VENUE: GRAPEVINE MILLS MALL

2014
The 2014 rodeo will bring exciting changes as the Coppell Police Traffic Unit has joined forces with the Grapevine Police Traffic Unit and be held at Grapevine Mills Mall. As a combined event, we have decided to sponsor many police and fire related charities: MetroplexCOPS (www.metroplexcops.org), Remember the Fallen Heroes (www.rememberthefallenheroes.org), Grapevine Shield (www.grapevineshield.org), Russ Martin Listener Foundation (http://russmartin.iheart.com/pages/foundation.html), North Texas Shield Foundation, and Team Texas (www.teamtexas.org).
Both units and departments are honored and excited to work with each other. We both realize the need for these charities and both have the desire to create the most exciting police motorcycle rodeo in the United States.

I am one of the volunteers helping with the Rodeo as an Alumni of the Coppell Citizen Police Academy.  This year the event moved from Wagon Wheel Park in Coppell to Grapevine Mills Mall.  It will be in the parking lot in front of the old JC Penney outlet store.

They are expecting more motor officers and more citizen spectators watching, so; this will be the best event yet.  They are also planning to have a big screen monitor to get a better perspective of the courses.

Come out and see some really cool motorcycle driving.  Not sure if I want to get my Valk out there scraping the pegs navigating the cones.
